This. Is. Roe Moore.

Roe Moore is the mastermind behind the camera, crafting stories that make you burst with laughter.  With an uncanny ability to turn even the most mundane scenes into side-splitting comedic gold, her directorial style blends classic film techniques with a cutting-edge approach, creating cinematic experiences that leave audiences both dazzled and doubled over in giggles.

Hailing from Aurora, Colorado, Roe's journey to the director's chair involved stints in various production roles, each adding to her toolkit of creativity. Drawing from previous life experience as an actor, Roe possesses an unparalleled knack for working intimately with talent, harnessing captivating and authentic performances. As a script supervisor, Roe gained a rock-solid understanding of the technical intricacies behind the camera – an invaluable foundation that sets her apart as a director with a holistic grasp of filmmaking. Whether you're an actor looking to score the role of a lifetime or a producer in need of a director who can turn chaos into comedy, look no further. Roe is here to make the entertainment world a whole lot funnier, one frame at a time.

When Roe isn't busy making movie magic, you might find her lacing up her running shoes, dashing through both film sets and marathon routes with equal enthusiasm. And speaking of dashing, Roe's two adorable dogs – a dachshund and a corgi – keep life entertaining and the creative juices flowing. When it's time to take a breather, Roe unleashes her baking talent, conjuring up batches of cookies that could sweeten even the most dramatic plot twist.

Brilliantly Talented

Although my background is diverse, I definitely have found what my passions are in the industry. The below are a few of my professional pursuits.

Directing

Picture
I recently had the chance to direct new works play RECESS for the Brisk Film Festival and Still Moving with the OC-Centric Orange County New Play Festival. Previous to these projects, I directed the sold out run of Jamba Juice: The Musical at the Hollywood Fringe; and East Stanton Station, a 10-minute comedy play as part of 2Cents Theatre's Acting Out! INKfest. For the festival last year, I directed the eccentric play Mirror, Mirror where I took the risk of including video playback within the play to distinguish the dichotomy of a mother struggling with losing her own identity as it is overlooked by her daughter's identity.

My experience in directing isn't limited to just theater. I've also directed many multicam live shows as well as films. Check out the DIRECTOR page for more details!

I am a current and active Television Academy member in the Directors Peer Group.

Script Supervising

From commercials to feature films to variety and talk shows, my obsession with behind-the-scenes work has led me to this rewarding skill set in the entertainment industry. Working as a secret ninja on set saving the continuity issues before they make it to the editing room takes an in-depth knowledge of the way storytelling works in the visual medium.

Because of this passion I have for this position, I also teach script supervision. But we'll talk about that more later.

In the meantime, I recently wrapped on a few HGTV Promos, Mack Chat Season 3, and promos.

Find out more: SCRIPT SUPERVISOR.

I am a union IATSE Local 871 script supervisor.

Producing

Picture
As an award-winning producer, I have produced in all facets of the industry. Most recently, I produced online branded content for YULU Toys. My favorite project I've produced is our Buzz'd Out! TV series and Live event for the Hollywood Fringe.

Because I came up through the crew ranks, I approach producing in a very different manner. For more information on what I’m currently working on, head on over to my Producer page  .

I am a active member of the Producers Guild of America and a mentor in the PGA Diversity Workshop Series.
